I am a lecturer at the University of California, Los Angeles, where I recently completed my PhD and where I teach about climate change and the built environment. My dissertation project traced the conjoined histories of architectural computing, environmental design, and professional practice in the late 20th century, adopting critical approaches to architecture’s technical substrates—the algorithms, softwares, and user protocols of computation.
